Here we are! The final week of the 21 Day Challenge with Nile Wilson! Did you enjoy your day of rest yesterday? We hope you were able to organise yourself a meal plan and get your nutrition really nailed down so you’re as prepared as you can be for this final week! Today is going to be Cardio! For those who may not know what we mean by Cardio, we mean your cardio vascular system. This workout is designed to help strengthen your heart and lungs, and your circulatory system. Workouts like this are designed to help improve how your body reacts to exercising for longer periods of time.
As this workout is really going to get our blood moving around the body, it’s important that we prepare properly by performing a thorough warm up. Head back to Day 1 to follow Nile in his warm up routine.
Make sure you keep yourself hydrated during this workout, especially with this hot weather. Keep a drink nearby and utilise your rest time to hydrate and take deep breaths.
Always remember to go at the pace your body can take. If you feel you can step it up a notch then do. If you start to feel it is getting too much though, try to take it a little easier to complete the full workout. It’s much better to complete the workout at your level than burning out!
